“…The Embroidery speaks to me…” Sounds like a fable but it is not. The Bulgarian woman calls the embroidery a letter, a script, and it has the same meaning for her as literacy is for the contemporary person.

The Bulgarian embroidery is an art, spirit, a secret and magic, a song and a fairy tail. And when you look at the embroidery, when you touch with eyes the script sewn in, when you take in hand the linen and the needle – you will understand and feel that.

To “read” hidden messages, to “write” secret scripts, to create eternal beauty with your own fingers – that is what our Atelier “Bulgarian embroidery” offers to you.
